Halloween Reminder

Order of Omega wants you to have a fun and safe Halloween, but we also encourage you to take a moment to think about the choices you make when celebrating.

Someone else’s culture, traditions, identity, or lived experience should never be treated as a costume. What may seem like a fun or harmless costume to one person can be disrespectful or hurtful to others.

Choose costumes that celebrate creativity—not cultures, identities, or stereotypes. Be mindful of the impact your choices may have, encourage your friends to do the same, and help create a Halloween environment where everyone feels respected and welcome.

Have fun, celebrate responsibly, and most importantly, stay safe!

Our Values

As National Hazing Prevention Week comes to a close and Domestic Violence Awareness Month begins, we are reminded of the responsibility we share to create communities grounded in respect, safety, and human dignity.

With sexual assault once again making headlines within the fraternal world, we believe it is important to reaffirm our values as a leadership recognition organization. At the heart of those values is something simple but essential: human decency and how we choose to treat one another.

Our longstanding position statements addressing hazing, alcohol and drug abuse, and sexual misconduct are available on our website. We encourage our members and partners to review these statements and, most importantly, to reflect on the responsibility each of us has to foster environments where every person is treated with dignity, respect, and care.

Annual Scholarship Application Cycle -- Coming Soon!

One of the benefits of membership in Order of Omega, as a current and active member of an Order of Omega chapter, is the opportunity to apply for an Order of Omega undergraduate scholarship.

The application cycle for our undergraduate scholarships takes place during the Spring semester—so start getting ready to apply!

Scholarship recipients will receive awards ranging from $500 to $3,000, depending on the specific named scholarship for which they are selected.

New for 2027: All scholarship applications will be submitted through the GreekTrack membership management platform. If you do not currently have access to your GreekTrack profile, please contact Mike at IHQ for assistance.
