Flexible Learning Options FAQ

What time do these classes take place?

2:45 - 5:00 p.m.

Do I have to attend school all day and then come to DACC for my class?

No - you can get creative and flex the first part of your day to fit your lifestyle and learning style. This will look a little different for every student, but you have options, such as:

  • Taking College Credit Plus Classes
  • Taking any required academic classes you have at your home school
  • Picking up the early shift at work
  • Sleeping in

I play sports after school. Will I be able to attend this course and get to practice?

The Flexible Learning Options classes take place from 2:45 - 5:00 p.m., so students will need to be on campus at that time Monday - Thursday. If a student's sports schedule conflicts with these classes, the student will need to decide to either continue with the sport or attend one of the DACC classes.

Do these classes last the whole school year or just one semester?

The program lasts the entirety of the school year. In order to get the maximum benefit from the program, including the industry credentials, a student would need to take the entire program.
