The Refugee Crisis, Two Years Later

In 2016 we were proud to host fifteen clergy visitors from Berlin for
Shabbat Join as we host another group of ministers to discuss how the refugee crisis has changed over the past two years. At our Shabbat service several of the pastors will share their experiences of welcoming displaced persons into their communities.

Join us for breakfast with Torah Scribe, Alexandra Casser. She will talk briefly about her role as a
soferet  (female scribe), and present information about what is involved in creating and maintaining a  Torah scroll.
She will demonstrate how to repair a scroll.
