Path to College

The Point is partnering with Leadership Links again! Join us on Saturday,February 4th 9am-11am to learn more about preparing for college! All you have to do is register online before February 1st.

The Point is offering financial assistance for college application fees to students who attend the events, maintain a B average, and are enrolled at The Point during their senior year.

The Point Spelling Bee
Tuesday, January 24th

We will have grade level spelling bees on Tuesday, January 24th. Each grade 
level winner will go on to represent The Point at the district competition on 
February 7th competing against other Guilford County schools.

Please work with your scholar at home on their grade level list to help prepare 
them for the spelling bee.
2nd Quarter Benchmarks
Parent Meetings

Our scholars have been working hard this week on their 2nd quarter benchmarks. Teachers will be contacting parents about meeting to discusshow we can use these benchmarks to help our scholars grow.

Feel free to contact your child's teacher to request a meeting day and time.

8th Grade Parent Night

8th Grade parent night is here!
Join us on Wednesday, January 25th at 5:30.
We will have games and challenges. Let's see who will win! Will it be the parents or the students?
Science Fair
3rd - 10th Grade

Judging for science projects will take place on Saturday, January 21st at 9am. 
 Families are welcome to come out and look at the projects on display. Winnerswill be announced on Monday, January 23rd and will go on to represent The Point at the district fair on Saturday, January 28th at Greensboro Academy.

Uniform Policy
"Start Early, Start Strong"

School uniforms are required (Monday - Friday)
School leaders will announce when dress down Friday (jeans and school t-shirt) has been rewarded.
Until then all students must wear the daily uniform.

*Students must wear the Wednesday uniform (black and white dress attire) even when assembly has been cancelled.*
