On-Site Career Center Services Resume

We are pleased to announce that beginning on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, MassHire Holyoke will be providing “BY APPOINTMENT ONLY” on-site services. Please be aware that no walk-in services and no group activities will be available until September 7, 2021. There also will be no Unemployment Specialist to talk with directly. If you want to meet with a career counselor, confer with MHH team members, or access a copy machine or fax, you first must make an appointment. To do so, please call 413-532-4900.

The full range of MassHire Holyoke career center services remains available virtually. Please visit www.masshireholyoke.org to learn more and to view the menu of services that are provided.

If you need to attend a Career Center Seminar or Orientation, you must register on-line at www.masshireholyoke.org, or by using JobQuest, at https://jobquest.dcs.eol.mass.gov/jobquest/. Until minimally September 7, 2021, The Career Center Seminars, and all workshops/webinars, will continue to be offered only on-line.

Please also be aware of the following guidelines when entering the Center:

• Customers and visitors who are fully vaccinated will not be asked to wear masks or maintain social distancing when interacting with others in the Career Center. Proof of vaccination is not required.
• Customers and visitors who are not vaccinated will be asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing. A supply of free masks will be available for distribution.
• Upon entry, customers will be provided and asked to read the following written statement, which will be available in English and Spanish:

“Please do not attend today’s appointment if you have a high temperature/fever, feeling feverish, respiratory symptoms including shortness of breath, chills, nausea, fatigue, headache, muscle/body aches, runny nose/congestion not consistent with allergies, cough or sore throat, gastrointestinal (GI) issues, such as diarrhea or vomiting, or new loss of taste or smell.

Please do not attend today’s appointment if you have you been in close contact (within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more) or coming in direct contact with anyone (either a family member or otherwise) who has been confirmed positive or is waiting on a COVID-19 test result during the last 15 days.”
