God has made into saints all who have been baptized into Christ,
and on the festival of All Saints Day
we honor especially those saints who have died in the faith.
Their names may be unknown and their lives generally forgotten,
but we sing our thanks that they are now held in God.

"Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his." Romans 6:3-5

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of all mercy and the God of all consolation. God comforts us in all our sorrows so that we can comfort others in their sorrows with the consolation we ourselves have received from God.

Don't Forget Your Photos

on November 1

All are invited to bring in a photo of a loved one and place it on the "saints" table as a way to honor those that went before us. If you have it in a small frame - great, if not - it's fine! Just lean it up on one of the blocks or simply lay it flat. Maybe a good idea to get your photo out now and put it by the door so you don't forget!

2027 Stewardship Campaign

Our theme for 2027 - "Stewardship in all Seasons" is rooted in the conviction that stewardship is not merely about funding a budget, but about responding to God’s generosity and grace with faithful and joyful giving. Stewardship is a year-round spiritual practice that invites us to grow in gratitude, trust, and participation in God’s mission. Stewardship is not sequestered to the fall and the development of a budget for congregations. Rather, stewardship is lifelong living into the gifts God has given, discerning where God calls us, and sharing God’s gifts and talents for the upbuilding of God’s mission in our church, in our communities, and in the world.

In the coming weeks we will be preparing for Commitment Sunday, November 22nd, when we will ask church members to pledge a level of financial support for our coming year’s ministry. We will hear temple talks and participate in a collaborative project to express our unity in Christ and the sharing of our available talents and resources. We invite you to prayerfully reflect on what gifts you have to share with this community and encourage you to think about the ways you offer your time and talents for the sake of our congregation and community.

in Christ,
