First Annual Alumni Reunion A Success!

St. Bonaventure's College held the very first Alumni Reunion on May 1-2.

More than 50 alumni gathered in the Aula Maxima for the Friday night social and 30 came together for the special Mass the next day in the school's chapel.

It was great to see alumni from last year's grads going all the way back to the 1940's  networking and socializing together!

Next year's Alumni Reunion will be held May 6-7.
See you there!
Alumnus Launches Debut Album, Help Me Believe
Alumni Corey Pike
From the time he held his first guitar at age 8, a Christmas gift from his father, Corey Pike' 96 fell in love with music.

His love of music was further nurtured during his days as a St. Bonaventure's College student spending his spare time as a member of the school choir.  He credits choir director Susan O'Brien as a huge influence on his musical career by pushing his vocal limits at a young age.

Corey has shared the stage with many well-known Canadian artist including Sam Roberts, Ron Hynes, Sean McCann, Choclair and more, both as a solo act and with the band Lovemotor.

After working with Comfort Cove Studios and spending nearly 500 hours in the recording studio Corey has released his first solo album,  Help Me Believe.

Corey will launch his album with a special event at St. Bon's on June 27 at 7pm. This event is all ages-no alcohol. Tickets are $17.50 and can be ordered through Corey by emailing him at  pikecorey@yahoo.ca.

St. Bon's Alumnus Takes  Humanitarian  Trip to Haiti
Michael O'Keefe '13 recently returned from a humanitarian building trip to Haiti with the Live Different organization.

Live Different gives volunteers from across Canada the opportunity to make a difference in the developing world as they build houses, schools, and complete other much needed projects.

Michael took a break from his hard work to snap a photo with a few local children.

Michael has said it was an amazing experience that was very eye opening. He enjoyed his time volunteering and hopes to be able to do it again in the future.
