After 5 1/2 years of serving on the GLR team, Michelle Eddy felt the Holy Spirit nudging her to her next adventure. We are grateful for the time Michelle served the GLR family and remain excited about all God has for her going into the future.
Out of His goodness, God brought to the GLR Mrs. Jordan Yant. Jordan grew up during her teenage years attending Frontline Church, a Wesleyan Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she still attends today. A little over a year ago, Jordan started The Dwelling Place, which provides women who are already Christians and those considering a relationship with Jesus an opportunity to gather and experience community in non-threatening places and ways.
Last September, Jordan married her wonderful husband, Blake. Together, they love fishing, camping, and the outdoors.
Due to the significant importance of her role, Jordan endured a total of four different interviews, all of which she navigated with professionalism and humility. She could easily be described as someone who loves Jesus and is humble, hungry (to grow), and smart (with people), to use a Patrick Lencioni phrase.
Jordan serves as the Executive Assistant to CTC Chris Conrad and stands ready to serve our Pastors, Leaders, and Churches in her new role.
Welcome Jordan! It is great to have you on the team!
-Chris Conrad

Sending out people to plant churches is much like gardening and cultivating a field. Just as a gardener prepares the soil, plants seeds, and nurtures growth with patience and care, church planters enter communities to sow the seeds of faith, build relationships, and nurture spiritual growth. The process requires vision, persistence, and trust in God to bring the harvest in due time. It’s slow, organic work that relies on both divine provision and human faithfulness.
Who are you cultivating to send?

Summer is a great time to grow closer to God through prayer. With a slower pace and more free time, we can be more consistent in talking to God and listening for His voice.
More than anything, it's about leaning on the Holy Spirit and asking Him to guide us, speak to us, and stir something new in our hearts.
When we stay faithful in prayer, even in small ways, God can use it to refresh our spirits and bring real change in our lives.

Let the Spirit Lead with Chris Carroll
Even when we overlook Him, the Holy Spirit is powerfully present—breathing life into our faith, our words, and the Scriptures. As we learn to seek and surrender, we grow in intimacy with God, trusting His presence even in silence and discovering how He uses us in unexpected ways.

Obedience Unlocks Purpose
Discover how staying rooted in His Word keeps us from legalism and leads to deeper fulfillment, purpose, and leadership through the pruning process. Through surrender and pruning, we find deeper purpose, fulfillment, and growth in our leadership as our hearts become aligned with what matters most to God.

Leading with Prayer, Not Power with Tamar Eisenmann
Ministry should never exploit people, but instead be rooted in prayer, led by God, and centered on the full Gospel. Whether navigating cross-cultural discipleship or stepping into leadership after a long-term pastor, faithful ministry depends on humility, discernment, and a willingness to let God lead the change.
