Greetings!

The story of MDS Canada this year is patience and waiting. That was also the Jim Brown of 70 Mile House in B.C. His journey of getting home again was one of delay after delay. His patience was stretched! His hopes were raised and disappointed several times as he patiently waited three years to come home. This summer MDS was finally able to help him do that at a special COVID-19 project where volunteers followed pandemic safety guidelines and protocols. (Read more about that project at the link below.)

As we patiently look and wait to restore hope through repairing and rebuilding, we are reminded of that comforting truth that this is all God’s work and happens in God’s time.

Homes built by MDS withstand Hurricane Laura

"There's no reason our house should still be standing. Our insurance adjuster was blown away by the construction. We will be moving back"

MDS builds first house in Canada during pandemic

The project not only met the goal of providing the homeowner with a new house, but it “gave a good witness to the community. We wanted them to know we wanted to work safely, and that we wanted to keep them safe."
