2019 Marks Significant Anniversary Milestones at Newfield

Ray Pellerin, Project Superintendent
“My first project was the River Street School project in Windsor. My job was to tie all the rebar for the concrete slab and foundations. When I was first hired, I didn’t want to be placed in an authoritative position. I just wanted to do my job and at the end of the day go home. This lasted a few years until Newfield asked me to start the Federal Building project in Hartford insisting that they would find someone to replace me. Well…. they didn’t, and here I am now. Little did I know at the time it was a blessing in disguise as this was the start of my career and that I would meet my wife of 20+ years, Amy, on this project.”
