Book Signing with Alumni Dr. Clemons & Congressman Bishop

Bishop State hosted a book signing event with Dr. Willie H. Clemons and special guest Congressman Sanford Bishop, Jr., who is the son of the college's namesake.

Dr. Clemons presented "This is My Story, This is My Song," which shares his journey of overcoming obstacles and finding his voice through faith and perseverance. Students, staff, and guests had the opportunity to meet the author, hear his inspiring story firsthand, and receive signed copies of his book.

They also enjoyed a Q&A discussion with Congressman Bishop, who noted his father would be pleased to see how Bishop State has advanced its mission within the community.

The Wildcat Roadtrip

Another season of the Wildcat Roadtrip has come to an end! This annual event brings essential Bishop State offices right to students' doorstep, making it easier than ever for them to take the next step in their academic journey. Admissions, financial aid, academic advising, and other student support offices were available to answer questions and assist students. This year, we visited 11 high schools and registered 235 students for the upcoming fall semester! Thank you to all the high schools who partnered with us and allowed us to bring our team to your campus. We would not have been a success without you!
