Congratulations to Bishop State's newly formed team - Wildcat TKO - set to compete in the Propel/Disney on the Yard Innovation Challenge! The team consists of four students:

  • Elizabeth Gates
  • Jadan Gainey
  • Kadeidra Henderson
  • Ly'Nardia Morris

Each student has an opportunity to win up to $4,000 in scholarships and first place could bring home a $10,000 grant for Bishop State. Team Wildcat TKO, you have our full support and we wish you the best of luck in the competition!

Pizza with the President

Thank you to all of the students who participated in Pizza with the President! About 50 students shared their thoughts about what Bishop State does well and the areas that need improvement. While the students were honest, they also shared their appreciation of our faculty and staff and the tough love, encouragement, and care that is poured into them every day. President Charles said it best, our students "are our most important commodity." Meetings like these help ensure Bishop State continues to meet the needs and wants of our students!

Morris inspires attendees of ACCS Board of Trustees meeting

Congrats to Ly'Nardia Morris for representing our student body so well during the ACCS Board of Trustees meeting last month! Her story inspired those who heard it and reminded everyone how education can impact families for generations.
