Best,
See the Crisis Act
It's been 86 days since Vice President Harris was appointed as the Administration's border czar, but she still hasn't been to the border. That's why I introduced the See the Crisis Act, legislation that would prevent the Vice President from using taxpayer dollars to travel internationally until she visits the border. I called for the House to consider this common sense bill, but House Democrats shot down this effort. Open borders jeopardize the safety and security of every Iowan and I’ll continue to hold the Administration accountable until they secure the border.

Advocating for Agriculture
Fighting for IA-01 Farmers
This week, I wrote a letter to both U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael S. Regan urging the EPA not to repeal the 2020 Navigable Waters Protection Rule and expressing concern over reports that the Administration is considering ethanol blend mandate reprieves to oil refiners, which would devastate Iowa's biofuel industry. Read the letter here and watch my video on how returning to overregulation will hurt farmers in IA-01.
ICYMI: President Biden's Economic Policies are Helping China, Hurting Iowa
Last week, I joined Fox Business to discuss how the Biden Administration’s economic policies are helping Communist China while hurting working Iowans. Watch the full video here.
Honoring Our Fallen Heroes
Last weekend, members of my team were able to attend the Independence Memorial Run in honor of Iowa State Patrol Sergeant Jim Smith, Registered Nurse Lorena Schulte, and Corrections Officer Robert McFarland. Thank you to everyone who participated in this meaningful event to honor these brave public servants who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Jax in Washington
I loved having my son, Jax, with me in Washington this past week. He had a great time learning more about our nation's history and seeing Congress in action, and I've never had more fun at work than with him as my sidekick.
