October  2016

October is both Pow Wow time and the West River History Conference which, for better or worse, I supervise.  So although plans are moving forward for the Lewis & Clark Reunion tour, it is  - alas - still not ready for prime time!   We hope to roll out full details yet this month to all previous participants.  We do have dates (June 24-30) and will be traveling from St. Louis to Kansas City.

Lewis & Clark Trail
Since 2001 we've been sharing this quintessentially American story with folks who want to learn more about their heritage and see more of this great land of ours.  This very special Vanishing Trails Expedition features living history, speakers, special events, authentic meals, Lewis & Clark interpretive centers, numerous historic sites, boat rides on the Missouri River, and much more!  Join us this year for the adventure of a lifetime.

Legendary North Dakota Hjemkomst
August 12-19, 2017

Follow in the paths of legendary North Dakotans Teddy Roosevelt, Lewis & Clark, Sacagawea, and George Armstrong Custer.  See a Viking Ship which actually crossed the Atlantic (but from the New World to the Old), and learn about the state's strong Scandinavian Heritage,  view a bison herd with not just one, but three genuine white buffalo, plus
much more!
