On to the General Election

The Primaries are now behind us and the real work of maintaining our Super Majority begins. For many of you, Congratulations! you are assured of a seat in the 202nd Missouri Legislature. But many candidates will face a contentious General Election and it is up to ALL of us to help them any way we can. If you don’t have an opponent or are in a safe seat, please consider helping your future colleagues by:

The General Election is only 83 days away and any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I know that many of you are wondering what happens after election day. During the next few weeks, I will try to fill in the blanks for you. The first thing you should know is that on November 9th you will be attending a caucus meeting at the Capitol. At that caucus meeting we will be electing the leadership team for the 2022 Legislature. We will also be drawing numbers for offices (I will get into that process in a later newsletter). So, this is a very important caucus meeting as you will be taking your first meaningful votes and drawing for your office lottery number. As we get closer to the election, I will get you more information on the legislative process so you can hit the ground running in January. As a first installment, I have attached a copy of the current House of Representative Rules.

Win Every Day!

Jim
