Not exactly 100% sure what this was originally used for. It is a large 19th century horn vessel with a beautiful carved maple handle and Initials carved into it. It measures a large 17.5” long and has a great old patina. My guess was it was filled with seeds and then you could shake it back and forth to seed your crops. Someone else thought it was filled with black powder and then used to fill small powder horns and flasks. What do you think? Great looking hanging on the wall.
