Important Information Regarding Weather Delays and Closures:

At the start of the school year we changed our communication software and we are still ironing out a few bugs. Please be aware of the following:

  1. We are still working on having text capabilities. If you signed up for a text notification, that may come to you as a phone call for the time being.
  2. We do not follow TPS for our weather delay or cancellation decisions. Please do not assume that if TPS has cancelled or delayed that we are as well. TSA will send notifications through phone, email, social media, and (hopefully soon) text.
  3. We will also provide closing/delay information to WTOL and 13ABC, you can check their website and news programs for that information as well.

PICK UP REMINDER:

When picking up your student after school, please make sure you are parked in one of the available spaces in the parking lot, and have your child come to you. We need to keep the lane open for people to exit once they are loaded and ready to go.

Study Tables will begin Tuesday September 3rd in room 217 from 3:02-4:00pm. The space is available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:02-4:00pm. Study Tables is open to students in 7th-12th grade.

This is a place where you can get help from teachers and peer tutors for subjects you're struggling with or if you just need help with an assignment or a project. This is also a space where you can simply have a quiet and calm space to work on something independently.

TONIGHT!!

Attention, Seniors, Juniors, and Families!!

If you've filled out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) in a past year, either for yourself or an older student, you may be looking at your calendar and anticipating the near-arrival of October 1st, when the FAFSA has always opened.

The federal government is making changes to the FAFSA this year. It is expected to open this year on December 1. There's always a possibility there may be a delay, but that's the date we're hoping for.

But we do have a firm date for this year's Financial Aid Info Night! Join us on Zoom, Monday, October 21st at 7:00 PM for an hour hosted by financial aid professionals from our sponsor institution, Bowling Green State University. All students (especially seniors and juniors!) and their families are welcome, even if you're not sure whether you want to go to college! Come learn with us!

Also, keep an eye on the announcements for the FAFSA Completion Workshop. We'll have college financial aid professionals onsite here at TSA, ready to help seniors and their families complete the FAFSA, start to finish! Sign-ups will be coming soon!

Lottery Applications Now Available / Siblings Must Apply and Provide All Documents.

If you have a current student already attending TSA, there is no need to fill out a new lottery application for next school year! Your students will be meeting with their counselors next semester (beginning during 3rd quarter) and will discuss class schedule forms for next school year. Approving their classes and signing the form will secure your spot for next school year. That's all you have to do!

Also, if you have a current student attending TSA, you MAY qualify for our sibling preference for the 2025-2026 school year lottery.

Lottery Applications are available on our website now!

All applications AND all documents MUST be submitted prior to the deadline of January 31st at 3 p.m. to participate in the lottery which is held in February.

Unfortunately, if these deadlines are missed, State Law prevents us from making any exceptions and applications / documents received after the lottery, sibling or not, will unfortunately, according to State Law, be placed at the end of the waitlist for your grade level.

Please note:

We must abide by State of Ohio lottery laws. These laws specify that the sibling preference only applies if you have a current student attending TSA at the time of the lottery application. It also specifies that siblings must have at least one same parent(s)/guardian(s) (with documented custody paperwork, if applicable) and share the same primary residential address to qualify.

Do you know someone that is interested in finding out more about TSA? Our Open House for Prospective Students is coming up on November 2nd from 10am-12pm. Find out more information and RSVP on our website ts4arts.org/enrollment
