November 14: One Day/One NOCCA, our annual giving day

Our annual giving day is less than a week away: One Day/One NOCCA is Tuesday, November 14! As NOCCA celebrates its 50th year, help us lay the groundwork for the school's next 50.

Your generous gift will help the NOCCA Foundation fund aid for students, visits from dozens of guests artists, professional development for faculty, and programs for the community. Please show your support for Louisiana's young artists on this very special day.

November 11: Short story writing class for adults

Veteran author Tom Andes can help you firm up your next short story and walk you through the publishing process. The class starts November 11, so reserve your spot today! Co-presented by the NOCCA Foundation.

December 20: Home for the Holidays

Join us at House of Blues for this annual holiday concert, featuring Irma Thomas, John Boutte, Preservation Hall, Kermit Ruffins, and many more of New Orleans' favorite artists. It's a great night of entertainment for a great cause. Learn more here.

OUTSTANDING STUDENT EVENTS

Dancing, dining, and singing throughout the fall

NOCCA students and their teachers are cooking up some amazing things this semester (literally!). Here's a taste of what's in store:

Seven (Nov 16-17), a concert featuring NOCCA's Dance students performing choreography by faculty. Order tickets here.

NOCCA's Fifty-Year Feast (Dec 1), with food by Culinary Arts students, lighting and decor by Entertainment Production Design students, and music by students in NOCCA's performing arts departments. Order tickets here.

Back to Baroque (Dec 13-14), an evening of classical music performed by NOCCA's Vocal Music students. Order tickets here.
