June 28-29, 2019, Osaka, Japan.
Resolution 33. "We will accelerate efforts based on the One-Health approach to tackle antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Recognizing the UN Secretary-General’s report on AMR....., we encourage all stakeholders including inter-national organizations to act and coordinate on those items relevant to their missions that contribute to global efforts to combat AMR. We recognize the need for policy measures for infection prevention and reduction of excessive antimicrobial usage. Further action should be taken to promote stewardship of and access to antimicrobials."

One Health experience for medical students
During medical school, students learn everything about the human body – but in Boston, a select group of Harvard medical students are learning about animals, too. It’s part of a collaborative program between Harvard Medical School and the Franklin Park Zoo called One Health, and it allows medical students to do a veterinary rotation during their final year of school.

Funding for initiatives addressing climate risks to human health
The new
Financing the Climate-Health Nexus Tool
from the USAID-funded Adaptation Thought Leadership and Assessment (ATLAS) project summarizes available sources of funding that are most relevant and feasible for financing initiatives addressing climate risks to human health. The tool is accompanied by a step-by-step
Financing the Climate-Health Nexus Reference Guide
designed to provide information on how to 1) access funds to explore the relationship between climate stressors and human health, and 2) address the challenges and opportunities of funding health initiatives that respond to risks posed by climate change. The primary intended users of these resources are developing country national governments, principally national health ministries in sub-Saharan Africa, as well as public health care professionals, health sector development practitioners, and other stakeholders. http://bit.ly/2JMHcTe
