VBS 2021 Cancelled
Out of an abundance of caution, we are unable to plan an in-person 2021 VBS Program this year owing to the uncertainties about COVID conditions. The nature of our in-person program and the large number of campers and volunteers it takes to run this 5 day experience will make it impossible to observe the standards of precautionary measures which may be required to ensure the health and safety of all participants.
If you are interested in helping prepare and plan for VBS in the summer of 2022, please contact Sarah Neau (neaus@stmbr.org).

End of the Year Pick-Up: If your child has medication(s) in the nurse's office, a parent will need to pick up their medication(s) on May 26th or May 27th before or after school in the lobby of the gymnasium. Controlled medications must be counted and signed out with Nurse Rochelle. If your child has other medical supplies (extra glasses/ contacts, braces wax, Gatorade, feminine products, etc) in First Aid, please ask them to come by and pick those up any time between now and May 27. Medications cannot be sent home with a student. Anything not picked up by June 3rd will be discarded.
Attention Fifth Grade Parents: State law requires that students entering sixth grade receive booster shots. Tdap and Meningococcal are the required vaccines. They cannot be given before the eleventh birthday, so if your child has a late birthday, a grace period will be granted and you can make an appointment for the week following his/her birthday. Please make appointments for vaccinations early in the summer, updated shot records are due by August 1. Please send an updated immunization record to school by fax (225) 275-0376, scan to rochelle@stmbr.org, or drop off or mail to the main office. MY CHART is not an acceptable shot record. A proper immunization record must have the LA state seal on the top, have an expiration date, and be signed at the bottom. Legible copies are acceptable, but please do not send photos of immunization records because they do not print well.
