Rushika Fernandopulle, MD, Co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Iora Health, will discuss his vision for a new primary care model deployed at Iora Health for "bringing humanity back to healthcare," through providing better quality, lower costs, and improved satisfaction for both patients and teammates. A key tenant of the model is consumer engagement and self-caring. As Chief Innovation Officer for One Medical, which acquired Iora Health in 2021, Rushika will share what’s next in the journey to transform primary care, including the rapidly evolving retail landscape.
Rushika is a physician who has spent decades improving the quality of healthcare delivered to patients. Rushika was the first Executive Director of the Harvard Interfaculty Program for Health Systems Improvement, and Managing Director of the Clinical Initiatives Center at the Advisory Board Company.
