The village of Willingtown will return to Casa de Fruta for its 2012 season, bringing with it the pageantry, revelry, and romance of the most popular time period in history! The Northern California Renaissance Faire, presented by Play Faire Productions, brings to life a colorful, bustling Elizabethan village, complete with a championship joust, traditional English fare and ales, many stages of non-stop entertainment, costumed characters, and a one of a kind marketplace full of unique hand crafted wares and endless activities including our Celtic Rock Concert Series every Saturday at the end of the day. We are excited to introduce two new environments this year; The Enchanted Garden for children of all ages and The Dockside Alley for mature revelers. The Northern California Renaissance Faire offers the most entertainment value for your money, for an entire day or weekend of fun.

Participate at the 2012 Northern California Renaissance Faire 

It is almost time for the village of Willingtown to come to life. Now is your chance to become more than a visitor to the village of Willingtown. It takes hundreds of actors and vendors to put together our little village. Find out from our Mayor, Ezekiel Willing, how to become part of our community in the first podcast of the 2012 season.

Workshops Start Saturday, August 25th

There are several ways to get involved at the Northern California Renaissance Faire. Naturally being a ticket bearing patron is the easiest way to participate in the fun. Patrons are welcome and encouraged to dress in Renaissance style costuming to enhance their experience but this is certainly not required.

Aside from being a Patron, the options for participating at the Northern California Renaissance include becoming a stage or street performer with our Entertainment Department, working in a booth with our Marketplace, or Volunteering for various jobs throughout the faire. Occasionally there are some positions available within Beverage, staff or production.
