2025 ONSTAGE REHEARSAL - FINAL CLADD

Final REQUIRED Class is held onstage the week of June 2nd-5th. Please note your class(es) may NOT be on the same day/time.

Reminder

Dancers can wear fitted athletic attire to their onstage class time. Dancers may still wear their regular class attire if they do not want to wear athletic clothing.

Dancers must have their hair pulled up off their face, and all their proper shoes, and any dance props/accessories needed.

Examples of fitted athletic attire include: Leggings, shorts, capris, tank tops, etc.

BACKSTAGE MOMS

If you are a backstage mom, please attend the final onstage class which you are volunteering for. This is a GREAT time for you to see how the class lines up, enters, and exits!

Also, Bring with you a pen or pencil and a highlighter.

Reminder: You will wear your Backstage Mom Shirt to the shift you are working on either Saturday or Sunday. Shirts are READY, please pick these up during on stage week!

KEEP ON PRACTICING

Keep practicing your routines! Use the videos and music that we sent to help. We do encourage dancers to practice without music so they are able to think through the movements and spend time making corrections. If you have questions let us know! We are SOOOO close to recital!

Backstage Mom Tickets: If you have not picked up your Backstage Mom tickets please do so next week during Onstage Week. If you had marked on your order form that tickets may be sent home with your dancer, the dancer must still sign for the tickets.

DID YOU KNOW?

That you are able to bring your dancer and watch the other shows! We encourage everyone to watch at least one other show, this is a great way to support your fellow dancers and see what they have been working on all year!

For our younger students, we highly encourage them to come to our Pre-Teen/Teen show to see how far their dance journey at CDA can progress! For our older students, come watch our Tiny and Youth Shows and see the cutest dancers on stage. These dancers are the next generation of our CDA Family blooming!

SHIRTS

2025 Recital Shirts are ready!! We have them ready to hand out!

These can be picked up at the Le Mars Community Middle School next week, during onstage class times.

Don't forget to take pictures in the recital shirt! Then tag us and use our #cdalife!

CDA Company Auditions

Auditions for our 2025-2026 Company are quickly approaching! If your dancer is auditioning please fill out the Audition Registration Form below!

Auditions will be held on Tuesday, June 10th at CDA!

Please be aware that the times for our audition classes are approximate. They may run a little longer or shorter.

Please let us know if we can assist you in anyway.

Attire: All Plain Black Clothing (Black Leggings, Black Tank Top)

Shoes: Ballet, Jazz, Tap

Hair: Bun

No jewelry other than small earrings.

Tentative Schedule (May change depending on number of dancers auditioning):

Dancers Audition Schedule (Ages 9 & up)

12:00-12:45pm - Tap

12:45-1:45pm - Ballet/Lyrical (REQUIRED)

1:45-2:45pm - Jazz (REQUIRED)

We have something just for you!!! Beginning on June 10th every Tuesday and Thursday we will have a Tone and Tighten Adult Class with Katie Weaver.

$5 per class

NO Monthly tuition, pay as you go

No registration fee

Needing extra after the Tone & Tighten class?

Deep Stretch will immediately follow for only an additional $3!

Enjoy a nice workout, then stretch all for $8!

ADULT HEELS POP UP CLASS

Full Performance Makeup, Hair, Costume, Tights, and Accessories Required. Parents are required to stay with students ages 12 and under.

Allison was chosen as the May Student of the month due to her constant positive and contagious energy!
