Red Door Ministry Continues Every Friday
Going out of town for the weekend? You can join the community for prayer on Friday at 12:30 p.m. before lunch is served for Red Door Ministry. This is an opportunity to pray for yourself, others, the community the nation and the world. There is no communion, but a simple service asking for healing, reconciliation, grace and wholeness. Come and see.

Love to Cook? Please volunteer this summer!
If you love to serve others or can help in the kitchen, we need you--during Aug-May, we have 25-50 VCU students to help at Red Door lunches on Fridays and Circles suppers on Tuesdays. Please contact Kim Reinholz at kreinholz@ghtc.or to help with Red Door and Kristin Blalock at to help with Circles. Thank you!

Please Pledge: Every Gift Matters
Did you make a pledge in 2019? It’s not too late—every gift matters! Together, we continue to be an inclusive, spirited and Christ-centered urban church that transforms lives. You can complete a pledge form online at or through the Member Center (top right of the website).

Your IRA’s required minimum distribution is a great way to pay your pledge or make a gift to the church and subtract the full amount of the gift from your taxable income. Your plan administrator must send the funds directly to GHTC. Your tax advisor can explain the impact for you; Barb Dodd can answer general questions about this idea.
Walking in the Way of Love
Take a moment to stop into the Chapel of the Resurrection and reflect on The Way of Love. This chapel which connects Grace and Holy Trinity with the world on our doorstep has become a safe and welcoming space for people to rest and pray as they pass by. The newly decorated space features photographs and quotations from participants in Faith from the Margins to the Web and our Red Door Ministry who have been reflecting on the Way of Love in group bible studies with our priest affiliate, the Rev. Dr. Sarah Kye Price. More in depth reflections on each of the Way of Love stations are available online at Faith from the Margins .

Thank you for turning off your phone.
If you would like to talk to God, come in, choose a quiet place, and talk to him.
