Join us this Sunday at 9 or 10:45am or online. Pastor Nate Powell will share the message Already New and Colossians 3:5–17. Paul calls the church to a decisive break with the old life, putting to death, ridding themselves of, and stripping off everything that belonged to who they used to be. The reason this is possible is not willpower but identity: you have taken off the old self and put on the new self, which is being renewed in the image of its Creator. The new life is clothed in compassion, kindness, humility, patience, and above all love, held together by the peace of Christ and expressed in everything done in the name of Jesus with a heart full of thankfulness.

Click the button below to set up a one-time or recurring gift to the general fund, which supports the mission and all ministries at Hillcrest. Even a gift of $50 a month goes a long way to introduce kids to Jesus, live-stream our services, reach out locally, and share the Gospel globally. Thanks for giving!

Update from the Board:

We are excited to announce that the Nominating Committee has selected delegates for this year's annual events! These representatives help connect Hillcrest to the broader work of our conference and denomination.

+ In April: Laura McConwell, Jennifer Ersing, Lori Gossenauer, and Nate Powell traveled to Littleton, CO, for the Midwest Conference Ministry Celebration.

+ In June: Dave & Jessica Fick, and Nate & Angela Powell will attend Gather 2026 in Scottsdale, AZ.

Please keep these teams in your prayers as they gather with the wider Covenant family. If you would like to be a delegate to a future event, please comment on a Connection card.

SERVE AT KIDJAM!

KidJam is coming, and it’s one of the ways we get to show up for kids as a church, helping them follow Jesus, feel like they belong, and know they are loved. Right now, 30 people have said yes, and we’re building a full team of 73. Don’t wait to jump in. When you step in early, it helps us build something strong together.

Help replenish our T.A.G. Bag supply! Our shelves are nearly empty of bags of shelf stable groceries for people to take and give. Please pick up a bag with suggested items, fill and return. It helps meet hunger needs every week at Hillcrest.
