3-Week Weightlifting Workshops
With the rise of Barbell and strength sports over the last five years, people have come into contact with weightlifting movements through the lens of athletics and Cross-Fit. We've created a technical workshop designed for novice/beginner lifters who have a desire to learn the basic technical elements of the snatch and clean and jerk. 

The class will meet twice a week for three weeks, and will walk participants through the technical elements of these movements from the ground up, focusing on proper positioning and an emphasis on the fundamentals of each lift. The small group nature of this class will foster an environment of personal attention and encouragement, with the hope for developing an appreciation for weightlifting as a sport all it's own.

Please note the following:
  • Sessions are 1-hour long.
  • Sessions held at Veale Fitness Center and require valid photo ID.
  • In order to maintain consistency and allow for the best learning experience for each person, participants are required to complete the entire 3 week workshop with the same coach.
