One Vue PACS went live on February 18 at our hospitals and associated clinics in Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids, Medford and Plover. The Picture Archiving and Communication System is the foundation of Aspirus Health’s enterprise imaging model to streamline the acquisition, distribution, and viewing of radiology and cardiology images as well as images created by other specialties.
This first phase of our One Vue PACS implementation is now shifting from go-live into a period of stabilization and optimization. The overall volume of new issues is low as we continue to work through the top issues related to study status and access.
Aspirus and Philips teams remain in place to provide ongoing support and continue to engage with stakeholders to review and resolve any remaining open issues. Additionally, these teams will be working with stakeholders and our One Vue Steering Committee to complete intake and prioritize optimization items.
It is anticipated that we will remain in a state of stabilization until late April during which time we will be focused on the following activities:
- Issue remediation
- Optimization intake and prioritization
- Optimization scope finalization
- Fuji sunset
- Lessons learned
Optimization efforts of One Vue will focus on supporting our caregivers and improving the day-to-day experience of both technologists and radiologists.
The implementation of One Vue PACS will be expanded across Aspirus locations in additional phases. Watch for future communications for timing and details.
