Pre-Conference | Monday, November 2 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

How can Family Justice Centers bring medical care, forensic services, and survivor support together?

Join four experienced Family Justice Center leaders as they share real-world models, lessons learned, and practical strategies for building sustainable healthcare partnerships.

Together, we’ll explore ways to:

  • Expand trauma-informed medical and forensic services.
  • Reduce barriers to exams, evidence collection, and follow-up care.
  • Strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration while centering survivor choice and consent.
  • Develop a survivor-centered healthcare model that fits your community’s needs and resources.

Whether you’re exploring these services for the first time or expanding an existing program, you’ll leave with practical ideas to help guide your next steps.

Who Should Attend?

Anyone interested in developing or strengthening medical and forensic services for survivors is welcome. This includes FJC leaders and staff, advocates, healthcare professionals, SANE program leaders, Children’s Advocacy Center partners, public health professionals, prosecutors, law enforcement, and funding partners.
