Dear Sally,

“ONE WITH CHRIST!”

“That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us.” John 17:21

This oneness is a spiritual union of those who repeatedly and consistently abandon themselves to Him, that He may work in and through them His good pleasure. Thus we are no longer “In Charge” and have become truly God-governed versus man-managed.

God petitions us, “Will you follow me no matter what the cost? Will you give up to Me the absolute control of yourself? May I have My way with you in all things? Will you cleave only to Me?”

This means, We become instantly and intimately active to Gods Divine presence knocking at the door of our hearts. And at the same time we become infinitely passive to the old life. Throughout our day we find God has a thousand ways He makes this offer of union with us. May we always by faith say a definite “Yes to God and an emphatic no to self!”
