Dear friends of Powered by Professionals
We hope that your spring is off to a great start! While we had a quiet December, the PBP team jumped right back into the swing of things in January and we are looking forward to continuing to produce more exciting and successful events this year! Check out a quick recap below of what we have been up to during the first quarter of 2021 and read on for virtual event insights and more!

In January, PBP produced two successful virtual events for the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation. The first event was an Insurance Industry Fireside Chat that included experts within the field discussing the impact of Covid-19 and how to navigate the industry in the coming months. Our second event was an interactive cooking event with Celebrity Chef Sam Talbot where he took guests through step-by-step instructions of making a Fresh Garden Vegetable Pasta and shared cooking tips and tactics, and his personal story living with type 1 Diabetes.
-
On January 30th, the National Pancreas Foundation held their first Virtual Gala that honored NPF Co-Founders Patter Birsic and Jane Holt with the Legacy Award for Volunteerism, and close to a thousand attendees were treated to a musical performance by rock legend Peter Frampton.
-
On March 4th, PBP was honored to produce the National Down Syndrome Society’s (NDSS) 35th Annual gala as a virtual event that featured a silent auction, special guests, testimonials, entertainment from country singer Sara Evans, table chats, a dance party and much more.
-
On March 7th, PBP produced the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation's (AAMDS) Global March for Marrow Virtual Kick-off, the first of six virtual run/walk events we will be producing for them this year, all over the country.
