And so began the journey through the Orion training program and into meaningful employment for Bryan, one of 2025’s great success stories. Bryan’s drug addiction had led to 5 years of homelessness and hopelessness. He needed a change, and quickly.

Our mission is our core - but it's our world-class, industry-leading aerospace manufacturing that is the platform enabling us to accomplish that mission.

We are pleased to announce new game-changing pieces of equipment: This fall we grew our machine shop with a 5-Axis Mill (pictured above) and with a new QA Lab and an additional Coordinate Measuring Machine (below).

At Orion, we deliver more than 1.5 million aerospace parts annually. Parts moving through our floor will be on a plane and in the air within just a few weeks. These new machines boost our capacity, productivity and efficiency while continuing to meet the highest standards of our aerospace customers.

New machines like these on our aerospace manufacturing floor help us to produce, train, and learn at a higher capacity. Everyone wins!

Orion is a finalist in the BECU People Helping People Awards — thanks to a nomination from our own Kate Mallahan in our Mukilteo office. Her belief in our mission helped secure $15,000 for Orion — and voting on the final award closed last week. Huge thank you to all of you who voted for us!
