Describe the personal characteristics and skills that best qualify you to serve on the Board: I have great respect, care, and passion for the community in which I live, work, and play in. I have vast knowledge and experience in having held multiple leadership roles ranging from front-line to executive levels over the past twenty years. I am adaptable and have demonstrated consistent success maintaining a high-level performance under pressure or when experiencing changes in the workplace throughout my career. I take great pride in my communication (clear and concise) when conveying information and ideas to others in a convincing and engaging manner. I learned early what it meant to demonstrate and convey a professional demeanor through my work-life experience; exhibiting behavioral styles that convey confidence and command respect from others; making good first impressions representing the organizations I have worked with or for in alignment with its values. I enjoy and feel I demonstrate the ability to problem-solve and make decisions when identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; obtaining and comparing information from different sources to draw conclusions, develop and evaluate alternatives and solutions, and choose a course of action. I have the vision, leadership and high values that are needed to represent the homeowners on the board. I demonstrate the integrity to serve the interests and pursue the goals of the board, as well as the challenges and interests of the homeowners and community. I am dedicated and committed to all that I do and have a unique ability to compel people so that they feel like they are heard while having the aptitude to influence to the desired direction.

Describe the professional, community and life experiences that best qualify you to serve on the Board: From a professional level, I have over twenty years of professional and progressive experience working for the Coca-Cola System in North America (Front-line positions to managerial positions to executive-type senior sales and operational roles). I have managed or oversaw teams of 5 to 1,000 associates both directly and non-directly. I have entrepreneurial experience as I ventured out on my own, starting a new small business and building a packaging and display company, partnering with consumer product goods companies. My perspective is vast due to many different experiences I have endured and overcome in life; both personally and professionally. From a community perspective, I have served on numerous Boards/Committees both profit and non-profit, holding the chair position for JDRF, working with local communities to drive fundraising for charities, etc. My life experiences have taught me patience, understanding, empathy along with other skills like social and interpersonal skills. Every day is a learning experience especially when you are blessed with three children who depend on you to guide them through life and making decisions. I enjoy listening to what people have to say and am committed and passionate about helping those I serve. My greatest strength is enabling people around me to feel comfortable and empowered to have the necessary confidence in order to achieve their goals.

List any topics of concern that you would like to see addressed in the coming year as a Board member: I am new to the area as we just moved here last June but would love to learn the current challenges and opportunities that are in front of Suncrest Owners Association. From a personal standpoint, I would like to address parking on the streets in most neighborhoods. Parking is allowed on both sides which makes it exceedingly difficult to pass through the street and cars go so fast through the neighborhoods, it can be dangerous.

Is there a specific position that you would like to fill or a specific role you would like to play in the coming year as a member of the Board? I am open to any role on the board where my skillsets can add value.

If elected to the Board, would you like to receive training in a specific area to enhance your service as a member of the Board? It would be great to get a quick download of current projects, current items on the table, and discussion around future decisions to be made. I may request more training as I get involved and integrated into the board.
