DOLLS 2013 Cover Contest Sponsor
The Professional Doll Makers Art Guild was founded in 1991 by Jack Johnston as a not-for-profit guild to assist doll artists in their quest to be recognized for their one-of-a-kind creations. As a consortium of artists, PDMAG attended its first show, New York City's Toy Fair, in 1992. The show was so successful that, since then, it has done at least one major show every year.

In the past 20 years, the Guild has assisted over 1,000 artists to the top of the dollmaking industry. The Guild's strength comes from working closely with their peers and getting motivated through camaraderie, as well as by sharing the costs of showing and advertising their creations.

Give your one-of-a-kind doll the exposure it deserves by having it featured on the cover of DOLLS magazine! Submit a photo of your best one-of-a-kind doll to our Facebook wall for a chance to get featured on the cover and in an article of a 2013 issue of DOLLS magazine.

Contest Rules - Photo submissions will be accepted until July 31, 2012. Contestants are only allowed one submission each. To be eligible for the contest, your submission to our Facebook wall must include the following:
*    the verbiage "Entry for Discover a Dollmaker Cover Contest"
*    artist name
*    name of doll
*    material used
*    photo credit identifying the photographer
     DOLLS staff will select the finalists entered into the initial Facebook voting round of the contest.
     Voting for each round will remain open for 24 hours, except for the final round. Voting for the final round will remain open for 72 hours.
     DOLLS staff will select finalists from the pool of photos received in the month of July. We will then post two photos together each business day throughout August, asking for our Facebook users to vote for one of the two.

     Finalists must be able to send in a high-resolution photo of their doll (300 dpi / 2400x3000 pixels or larger) to ensure the winning photo can be reproduced on the magazine's cover, so remember to save a copy of your entry at the maximum quality setting your camera will allow!

     The final vote winner will win that photo on the cover of a 2013 issue of DOLLS magazine and a corresponding feature article.

     Submit your entry today! Good luck!
