Rental Listings Will No Longer Automatically Feed to Facebook Marketplace
OneKey® MLS has recently been informed by Homesnap that Facebook will no longer accept any direct feeds from real estate verticals like our MLS system.  Facebook has decided to focus their energy on other sectors of the Marketplace so as a result, beginning Monday, September 13, they will no longer publish your rental listings automatically from the MLS onto the Marketplace. Moving forward, Facebook will only accept feeds to listings via a manual, self-serve checkout on your account.
OneKey® MLS created a “How To” video tutorial that covers how you can manually publish your listings to the Marketplace from your Facebook account.  You can view the video here.
NY State of Emergency Extended to October 8th
New York State Governor Kathy Hochul has extended all prior executive orders, including the current gun violence State of Emergency, until October 8, 2021. As a result of being under a State of Emergency, licensees are still prohibited from making any cold calls.
Real estate licensees may not make any unsolicited phone calls to a member of the public during a State of Emergency. All other types of marketing such as mailers, billboards, social media, internet etc., are permitted. You may call a FSBO if you have an identifiable purchaser interested in the property. You are prohibited from calling the FSBO to solicit the listing. You may still perform business to business calls so long as you are calling the number provided as the business number.
