August was an eventful month and this September will be even more exciting! With our mission of connecting commerce to community , we and our partners are working hard to engage the Redmond and greater Eastside community in fun events that interact with our businesses and help strengthen our quality of life.

Looking ahead, in September alone we are hosting FOUR big events with wonderful partners:

  • The World's Largest Game of Simon
  • The City of Redmond Mayoral and City Council Candidate Forum
  • Eastside Chamber Day at the Mariner's Game

14th Annual Tour de Redmond
OneRedmond's partner, the Greater Redmond Transportation Management Association (GRTMA) hosted its 14th annual Tour de Redmond Summer Bicycle Commute Challenge Awards ceremony on Wednesday, August 21st. This year, 560 participants in 55 teams commuted 14,347 bicycling trips between June 1 and July 31st. That's over 124,000 miles by bike, which means our bicyclists circled the globe 5 times!

Return of the Dragon: A Digital Scavenger Hunt
On Saturday, August 24, hundreds of dragon keepers of all ages descended upon Redmond to find the digital and real dragons at the local businesses and return them to safety in the Downtown.

Kirkland/Redmond Small Business Trade Show and Networking Event
T hursday, September 5, 4-7pm

Join us for our Kirkland/Redmond Small Business Trade Show Networking Event, a celebration of Redmond and Kirkland's Business Community, hosted by OneRedmond, Seattle Marriott Redmond and the Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Overlake Medical Center.

World's Largest Game of Simon
September 13th & 14th
OneRedmond will be hosting a world record-setting game of interactive SIMON in Redmond's beautiful Downtown Park. We're going for a Guinness Book of World Record milestone as the "World's Largest Memory Game".
City of Redmond Mayoral Candidate Forum
Thursday, September 26, 7:30-9 AM
Come meet your Mayoral candidates at OneRedmond's Breakfast Forum on Thursday, September 26th at the Seattle Marriott Redmond. During the breakfast, Dr. Eric Murray, President of Cascadia College, will moderate a discussion with Mayoral Candidates Angela Birney and Steve Fields. Redmond City Council candidates will also be present and available to meet during the networking time.
Eastside Chamber Day at the Mariners (M’s vs Oakland A’s) – Premium Club Level Seats!
September 27, 7:10pm

Join us as we bring together some of our Eastside Chambers of Commerce to watch the M's play the A's. Good networking, good fun, good company and great seats!

Who:    OneRedmond members, Kirkland Chamber members, Bellevue Chamber members, friends, and families - kids can come too!

Where:  T-Mobile Park

When :  September 27th 7:10pm – Fan Appreciation Fireworks Night

Cost:     $50 per ticket for premium club level seats. Pick up at the OneRedmond Office after 9/20.

Redmond-Based Companies Receive Accolades!
SIX Redmond-based companies were named in Inc.com's fastest growing private companies in the country. They include Quadrant Resources, Lenora Systems, The Spur Group, Zensa, Aduro and Nayamode.

Snowy River Cocktails dominated the cocktail decorating category at the 2019 PR%F Awards, as reported by Markets Insider. More than 500 spirits brands participated in this event.
