One Work Source Presents North Country Works

PLATTSBURGH | As the country begins its economic recovery in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, One Work Source has begun their online series “North Country Works” to highlight the success stories of laborers throughout the region and connect job seekers with all the tools necessary to return to work.

North Country Development Board member Joshua Kretser described the web series as the brainchild of the NCWDB staff.

The NCWDB, he explained, is a public-private partnership that links business, government, high schools, higher education and the workplace. In doing so the organization helps place the right people for the right jobs, and the web series serves to help do just that.

“NCWDB initiatives thrive on the synergy created when business and community needs overlap,” he said. “The result is a win-win situation: Businesses develop the workforce they need and Adirondack Coast residents gain access to career opportunities and higher incomes.”
