Self Employed UI Guide

PUA has extended eligibility for individuals who have traditionally been ineligible for UI benefits, including independent contractors and self-employed individuals. Please note, you cannot apply for PUA, until you have been determined ineligible for UI benefits. You must apply for UI before you apply for PUA.

Hiring Page

North Country Chamber of Commerce has added its own "now hiring" page to its website.

There, the chamber's member businesses showcase job offerings.

"Industries include pharmacies, grocery stores, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, manufacturing facilities and more," a recent news release says.

Extended telephone filing hours as follows:

Monday through Thursday, 8am to 7:30pm.

Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Saturday, 7:30am to 8:00pm.
