CVPH Wellness & Fitness Center will not reopen.

"The considerable expenses of operating the fitness center, coupled with the suspension in services caused by COVID-19, resulted in an unsustainable set of circumstances. From major franchises to independent local businesses, fitness centers have been uniquely impacted by COVID-19 and its repercussions are felt nationwide."

Essex Center to receive rapid tests

"ELIZABETHTOWN — Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is set to receive rapid-response COVID-19 tests and testing equipment as efforts to contain an outbreak at the facility continue.
As of Tuesday, 88 cases had been connected to a COVID-19 cluster at the Elizabethtown nursing home: 46 residents, 30 staff members and 12 contacts of staff. Six of the residents have died."
Saranac Lake hospital visitor restrictions extended

Visitor restrictions are now extended through Monday, September 7th (Labor Day).
