“This Is My Home”:
How Clarence Hilsman Built a Legacy for His Daughter

Every Showcase of Homes helps make stories like Clarence’s possible. Through every ticket purchased, sponsorship given, donation made, and auction item purchased, you help build brighter futures and create lasting change for families right here in our community.

Clarence Hilsman’s story is one of perseverance, love, and community. Determined to create a better future for his daughter, Clarence dedicated his time and energy to building a stable home and lasting legacy. His journey is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when hard work meets hope.

The Lake Oconee Showcase of Homes is more than a tour; it’s a chance to change lives. This year, we aim to help fund the construction of five new homes for Greene County families in need. With your support, we’re not just building houses—we’re building hope.
