Good News for Lighthouse Health Plan Providers
New Online Claims Portal!
We are excited to announce that our online claims portal is now live! Both par and non-par providers will be able to use this portal to:

  • Submit claims
  • Check claim status in real time
  • Check member eligibility
  • View training videos on claims submission

EDI Claims
Providers, if you are interested in electronic claim filing you may contact your EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) software vendor or the Change Healthcare (formerly Emdeon) Provider Support Line at (800) 845-6592 to arrange transmission.

Questions About a Specialist?
As Lighthouse Health Plan continues to expand our network of providers, we recognize there may be a need to send a member to a specialist that is not yet in the network. Lighthouse is able to make single case agreements with providers to ensure the highest quality of care. Therefore, if you have a specialist with which you regularly work and need to refer a member, please contact Utilization Management.

Lighthouse Holds Member Educational Events with Provider Offices
During Spring Break Lighthouse's Community Engagement Team held four educational events for members. Participants took part in healthy cooking with kids, jump rope/hula hoop contests, puzzles, crafts, yoga, face painting and more. A huge thank you to White-Wilson Medical Center, Community Health of Northwest Florida, Pancare Health, and North Florida Pediatric Associates for hosting the events.

Welcome to Lighthouse Health Plan's monthly Provider Newsletter.

It has been a busy two months since Lighthouse officially launched on Feb 1 as the only Provider Sponsored Network (PSN) managing Medicaid benefits for nearly 27,000 members across the 18 counties of Northwest Florida! As a sampling of our impact, in February we answered 5,833 calls through our call center, provided 862 successful transportation trip legs, and paid 11,665 claims.

I sincerely want to thank you for being part of the Lighthouse network. We appreciate your patience as we work through the many challenges of a start-up.
