Dairy Extension Course on Cheese Making and Vat Pasteurization
Want to learn a new skill? Thinking about becoming certified in cheese making? This course, required for the Dairy Extension Basic Cheese Making Certification Program, will consist of an online portion and one and a half days of hands-on cheese making and pasteurization. CCE Oneida Workshop on Profitable Meat Marketing
Farmers in the meat market should join an upcoming discussion on profitable meat marketing. On Friday, September 14, come to CCE Oneida to
learn how to use the Cornell Meat Price and Yield Calculator.

Consumer Connections with FreshFoodNY
A new app, available through Apple Store and Google Play, aims to connect farmer to consumer — ultimately helping farmers access more markets. The app allows customers to order and purchase food, then pick up the order at a farmers market. There are also wholesale options.

Farm Bureau Annual Convention and Innovation Challenge
The 100th National Farm Bureau Convention and Trade Show will take place in New Orleans, LA from January 11-16, 2018.
One great feature is the
Innovation Challenge
, focused on rural entrepreneurs. There will also be opportunities to learn about new technology and listen to Ted-style talks, as well as sessions on business skills, leadership, and policies.
