Our weekly Face-to Face meetings and activities into April are suspended. Weekly meetings will be held online. Weekly updates will be sent  via  E-Newsletters and by email as necessary. Each week in the newsletter we will feature a program so please take the time to learn more and stay engaged.

Here is a recap of the online meeting from this past Tuesday.

14 members were able to join our meeting on Tuesday. A recording is posted on our website and available to members only by using a password. If you need the password email Harris or Kim. Thank you Harris for setting it up.The meeting was led by President-Elect Cathy Smith.
  • Roll call-just about every member is accounted for. Thanks for checking in with someone! Nice to see Norm!

  • A reminder about annual elections: Slate of Officers/Directors has been received, a slate will be prepared and your board will approve next week. We will have elections for board directors as we have multiple candidates.
  • Please report service hours for April to Kim by May 6th. A reminder to all was recently emailed.

  • President Lindsey works for an agency that is essential and she needs to report every day so she hasn't been able to lead our meetings. She did host a "Happy Hour" on Zoom this past week.
  • Next week we will have a virtual guest speaker.Tina Pegler was scheduled to speak at a club meeting before the shut down. Let's try to join in on Tuesday and have a good turnout.

Our work as Kiwanians is valuable to our community and we will take extra proactive measures to ensure the safety of everyone yet help meet the needs of our community. As our county and state begin the transition to reopen in phases please continue to monitor and use good judgement when leaving your home.

For those that want to join the online meetings:
Zoom is a reputable and safe online program. It is endorsed by businesses and organizations such as Kiwanis International. You can use your computer, tablet, or mobile device.
