Where 2 or 3 are Gathered

The church color for this Sunday is still green - for many, many weeks!

Here are the readings:

This is what we're wondering about this week: Matthew 18:20: (Jesus said) "For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them."

I wonder why we hear this quote a lot, both in and outside of church?
I wonder, what is special about two people, or three, or more?
I wonder. . . what is special about gathering in Jesus' name?
I wonder, what is it like for people to have Jesus among them?
This quote comes from a story about people disagreeing, and agreeing.
I wonder where you are in this story?

Sing and sign this friendship song: "The More We Get Together, The Happier We'll Be!" You'll learn the ASL signs for More, Together, Friends, Your, My, and Happy!

And here are four people gathered together to sing a song about the Holy Spirit: "There's a Sweet, Sweet Spirit in This Place". Do you think Jesus is there, too?

I choose "size of a mouse, set in the church"!)
Next Sunday, September 13, at 10am, is outdoor worship, for those who choose to gather at All Saints', 825 Main St, W. Newbury, following strict protocols for safety.

Our Online Sunday School emails (like this one) are continuing!
