November 2 – 6: National Veterans Small Business Week
This year marks the seventh annual National Veterans Small Business Week, hosted by the U.S. Small Business Administration from November 2 to November 6, 2020. Look for events tailored to veteran entrepreneurs — activities designed to protect their businesses during this pandemic.
To honor National Veterans Small Business Week, covid-sb.org, the official federal website for small businesses, highlights resources that might be particularly useful for veterans who own or aspire to start a small business. Visit covid-sb.org for more information.
Help Navigating COVID-19 Tax and Filing Requirements and Benefits
Small business owners can also look to covid-sb.org for essential information about federal tax relief resources. This website offers information on tax assistance, such as credits and deferrals, so you can continue making informed choices.
COVID-19 is yet another challenge to small business owners. At any point in your recovery process, reach out to your nearest New York SBDC office to schedule an advising session. Each center is equipped to meet with you virtually (phone or web conferencing) to assist with your questions.
