InterLibrary Loan is BACK!
Beginning September 15
We are happy to announce that beginning Tuesday, September 15, we will resume requesting and borrowing books from other New Hampshire libraries, a procedure commonly referred to as Inter-Library Loans, or ILL.

We anticipate that requests will take 2-4 weeks to fill. 

NOTE: At this time, not all libraries have returned to full service, but we will do our best to fulfill your request(s). For newer items, please consider making a "material request": asking the library to purchase your requested item.

Borrow E-books and E-audiobooks with Libby!
Libby: The Rodgers Library Reading App, from Overdrive.

Borrow ebooks, e-audiobooks, and magazines to read on your phone or tablet using the Libby app by OverDrive. You can even send and read your borrowed ebooks to your Kindle e-reader! It’s free and easy to get started for new users and a streamlined experience for current OverDrive app users. Learn more .

To use Libby, you will need the following:

  • An active Rodgers library card number
  • Your library card PIN (Don't have your PIN? Click here for a PIN request form.)

You may check out a combined total of three (3) e-audiobook and/or ebooks for either 7 or 14 days, and you may place up to five (5) items on hold.

Monthly Scavenger Hunt!
ONLINE EVENT. Visit our Facebook page and join our monthly scavenger hunt held the last Wednesday of the month (except for December 23)!

All answers can be found in one of the online resources on the A-Z resource list on our website, rodgerslibrary.org.

The first player to finish will get a grand prize. Those who get all the answers within the hour will get a prize. We will provide a library card account number and PIN to players without one.

The Secrets of Abraham Lincoln's DNA

ONLINE EVENT. Abraham Lincoln is one of the most researched individuals in history, yet his DNA still holds many mysteries. This talk will discuss the fascinating secrets that we have so far unlocked about Abraham Lincoln’s DNA.

Colleen Fitzpatrick, PhD, the founder of Identifinders International, is widely recognized as the founder of modern Forensic Genealogy.  She has worked over two hundred cold case homicides for law enforcement using genetic genealogy analysis.
