From the Racial Justice Team

This conversation between Kenya Young, executive producer of NPR’s Morning Edition , and Sam Sanders, host of the It's Been a Minute podcast, is about “the talk” that Black parents give their children over and over to try to keep them safe in interactions with police. It’s heartbreaking to hear or read, but is important for white people to understand if they are to work toward reimagining the role of police in our communities. No mother should ever feel this fearful every time her son steps out the front door. Listen HERE .
