A Few Words from the Pastor
I trust that all of you are getting somewhat settled into life as it is today. We all need to send out great thanks to God for the heroic medical workers that are giving of themselves to this difficult task. We have all been asked to do things that we have never done before, and so many have responded in a exemplary way. Your faith is showing when you step up in uncertain times.
The greatest sustaining power we have now is our faith and the practice of prayer. We must continue to ask God to be with us and strengthen us in this hour. I know that he is faithful and will show us the way.
Though there are still weeks more to go in this "lock down," there is now a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. We are beginning to discuss life after this passes. It will be different for a while, but there is hope for a bright future.
This Sunday I will be preaching about the hope that we have even in the darkest times. We have a hope that always lives and never forsakes us. Our
Monday Musings email will feature the word HOPE.There has never been a time when we needed to grab on to hope more than today.
See you online at 11 AM Sunday.
Blessings , Irvin
