Welcome to our Online Worship. Today is the First Sunday of the Season of Advent. Our theme for today is "Finding Hope in Our Uncertainties." We have certainly been living in uncertain times these past few months! Luke's account of Joseph and Mary taking baby Jesus to the temple and of seeing Simeon and Anna is an encouragement to us as we seek to have hope for today and tomorrow. May God infuse us with his hope as we worship him today.

Opening Prayer
O God, as we worship you today, come into our lives and set us free. May we worship you with great anticipation and expectation of what you are going to do in and through our lives. Be born in us today. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be people of hope. Let hope live in your heart and share the hope of Christ with all you meet. Share hope by noticing someone else’s humanity. Share hope by listening to someone’s story. Share hope by praying for our world.
In this Advent season, we need to see, feel, and share hope. As you go out into the wonder of God’s creations, share hope with those you meet. Amen.
