Online Giving

Welcome to our Online Worship.   The title of my message for today is "Out of the Depths."  The scripture is Psalm 130.  The psalmist is experiencing a profound sense of guilt for his sin and he cries out to God for mercy.  He is confident that God hears him and waits and watches with confidence for God to show him his "steadfast love" and "plentiful redemption."  This is a psalm of hope.  May God give you strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow as you worship Him.

Call to Worship

Opening Prayer

O Holy God, we thank you for your word which is, indeed, a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.  Guide us today as we worship you.  Lead us into paths of righteousness for your name's sake.  Discern our hearts and our minds and bring us into right relationship with you.  We thank you for your word that points to The Word, Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our salvation.  We offer up this prayer and our worship in His name.  Amen.

Prayer for Forgiveness

Heavenly Father,
While you know everything about me
Before I ever tell you,
My head bows low especially today.
I'm so sorry, Lord;
I never meant for it to happen,
The boundaries were lowered
And I failed to choose well.
My decision requires your grace and mercy;
I simply have no other recourse.
Praise you that your love truly knows no limits
And your grace cannot be measured.
Praise you for your unfailing mercy
And that you mercy possesses no boundaries . . .
That you, dear God, expand
Beyond time, space, and matter
To forgive beyond a wreckage of a soul.

--Rachel Wojo--

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.  Amen and Amen.

Our Core Practices

Christ has no body on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours.  Yours are the eyes through which Christ's compassion for the world is to look out; yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good; and yours are the hands with which He is to bless us now.
