Online Giving

Welcome to our Online Worship.   The theme for today is "Surrounded By God."  The scripture is Psalm 125.  One of the great spiritual truths is that God is omnipresent.  He is always with us.  He surrounds us with his presence.  The psalmist says, "He surrounds us like the mountains surround Jerusalem."  May we experience God's abiding presence as we worship Him today.

Call to Worship

Opening Prayer

O Lord, as I worship you this day, surround me with your presence.  Surround me with your love.  Surround me with your compassion.  Surround me with your grace.  May my worship be pleasing to you, as I offer sacrifices of praise and devotion and my very life to you.  In the name of Jesus,  Amen.

Giving of Tithes and Offerings

Morning Prayer

Circle me, O God, let your arms enfold me.  Circle me, O God, let your love surround.  Circle me, O God, let your light shine brightly.  Circle me.  Circle me, O God.

Circle me, O God, when I'm weak and weary.  Circle me, O God, when despair is near.  Circle me, O God, let your peace surround me.  Circle me.  Circle me, O God.

Circle me, O God, when I'm tired and restless.  Circle me, O God, be my hope, my strength.  Circle me, O God, let your presence guide me.   Circle me. Circle, me, O God.

Trust In You

God to enfold me,
God to surround me,
God in my speaking,
God in my thinking.
God in my sleeping,
God in my waking,
God in my watching,
God in my hoping.
God in my life,
God in my lips,
God in my soul,
God in my heart.
God in my sufficing,
God in my slumber,
God in mine ever-living soul,
God in mine eternity.

Our Core Practices

Christ has no body on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours.  Yours are the eyes through which Christ's compassion for the world is to look out; yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good; and yours are the hands with which He is to bless us now.
